RETURN POLICY

At Love & Cake, every item is made from scratch per order and on the premises.  With that said, all orders are final. We desire for each of our customers to be 100% satisfied with the products they purchase. If for some reason, you are unsatisfied please contact the bakery immediately. We will work together to resolve your case in an individual and timely manner. Under no circumstances will a refund be given for a product. In some cases we will offer to fix a mistake, replace a cake, or provide a gift certificate towards a future purchase. Refunds cannot be made for weather related delivery issues, items not stored properly, or delivery/shipping problems that are beyond our control. 

FAQ’s

Do you sell diabetes friendly cakes or Keto cakes?

Yes. We have a limited menu of sugar-free, low carb cakes. As we test new flavors and recipes out in the kitchen, we will be adding more options.

How big are the cake jars?

The cake jars are 3.75″ in diameter and 2.5″ in height. The jars are 8 oz in size and reusable plastic in material. Each cake can serve two people, however it is rare that this ever happens due to the delicious flavors found in each one. We offer smaller, single serve, options as well which are 2.5″ x 1.75″.

What do you use as a sweetener?

We use unrefined coconut sugar, evaporated cane juice, and locally sourced maple syrup and maple sugar from Butler Hill Farms.

Do you use soy?

We do not use soy as our base cake ingredients are almond flour, cornstarch, and potato starch. Our cookies and brownies use a gluten free flour mix which may be manufactured in a facility which uses soy. 

Are you non-GMO?

Every ingredient we use has the certified label of being “non-GMO”.

Do you use certified gluten free ingredients?

Yes, all ingredients we use are deemed “gluten free” from the manufacturer. 

Is your facility certified Gluten Free?

Although we take every precaution during the baking process, our home cottage bakery is not 100% free from gluten products. We allow for personal items to pass through the kitchen during nonworking hours. All baking utensils and ingredients are strictly and solely used for our gluten free products. Our kitchen does not contain gluten filled flours or baking ingredients. 

Are you a nut allergy friendly business?

All of our products do not use nuts. We do have some ingredients that pass through the kitchen that may contain nuts. If you have an allergy and wish to order from us, please contact us so we may make the appropriate accommodations if needed.

Do you have a storefront?

At this time we do not. We are a cottage bakery. 

Are the items sweet like traditional bakery goods?

Baked goods that use alternative whole food sweeteners tend to be a little milder. If you are accustomed to eating cakes and treats that utilize refined cane sugar, our goodies may not be as sweet however we have had many taste testers claim to not tell a difference. 

How long does it take to receive my order?

Since everything is made to order, we require 2-3 days for processing. Once your order is successfully made, it will be shipped via USPS with gel freezer packs (with the exception of our dry mixes).

Do you offer shipping to anywhere in the U.S.?

Yes.

What are the best ways to store your products?

Our cake jars can be refrigerated for up to one week. Please allow all items to come to room temperature (30 minutes) before consuming so that the frosting has time to soften.
