RETURN POLICY

At Love & Cake, we desire for each of our customers to be 100% satisfied with the products they purchase. If for some reason, you are unsatisfied please contact us immediately. We will work together to resolve your case in an individual and timely manner. Refunds cannot be made for weather related delivery issues, items not stored properly, or delivery/shipping problems that are beyond our control. 

FAQ’s

Do you sell diabetes friendly cakes or Keto cakes?

At this time we are not offering Keto cakes.

What do you use as a sweetener?

We use unrefined coconut sugar, evaporated cane juice, organic sugar cane, fruit powders, and locally sourced maple sugar from Butler Hill Farms.

Do you use soy?

We do not use soy in any of our cakes with the exception of select toppings (sprinkles, crumble topping, and Oreo cookies).

Are you non-GMO?

Every ingredient we use has the certified label of being “non-GMO” with the exception of select sprinkles and Oreo cookies.

Do you use certified gluten free ingredients?

Yes, all ingredients we use are deemed “gluten free” from the manufacturer. 

Is your facility certified Gluten Free?

Our cottage bakery room is a dedicated gluten-free area. There is no products or ingredients that contain gluten. We are not certified by an outside agency. 

Are you a nut allergy friendly business?

Majority of our products do not use nuts at all. If they do, it is a flavor specifically featuring the nut or nuts. There are no hidden nuts within our ingredients unless stated within the flavor description. Thursdays are our Nut-Free day. We are closed off to any orders that contain nuts for that day. Local pick up only available on Thursdays. If you have any concerns please contact us at sharelove@loveandcake.org.

Do you have a storefront?

We are a cottage bakery with a dedicated gluten free, vegan bakery room that allows customers to come pick up their orders every Friday. 

How long does it take to receive my order?

Everything is made to order.  We have a minimum of a 2 day lead time on all orders. Shipping is only done on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Orders are grouped among those days and baked fresh just before being shipped. Shipping takes 1-3 days depending on where you are located. You will receive an email within 24 hours of ordering with your expected bake/ship date. If you are picking up your order, pick up days are Fridays only and all orders must be placed prior to 8pm the preceding Wednesday. 

Do you offer shipping to anywhere in the U.S.?

Yes.

What are the best ways to store your products?

The mixes are shelf stable meaning they can be stored in a dry area for up to 6 months. Our donundt cakes are individually shrink wrapped for freshness so they can be stored on your kitchen counter for up to 3 days (post shipping) or 6 days (upon local pickup). You can freeze our cakes for up to 2 months in additional saran wrapping for added protection.
